*Gradebook*
Computer programs, such as Microsoft Excel, are a great way of keeping track of important information without leaving a messy paper trail behind! I practiced transferring data to spreadsheets in class, created my own grade-book, and added visual representation of my results through the graph settings within the program.
Excel is also a great program for visual learners, and meets ISTE NETS 3 and 4, as students research, evaluate, and compute information.

*Service Learning Log & Reflection*
- I was given an additional opportunity to experiment with Excel as I was required to keep a log of my service learning experience throughout the semester.
- My assignment entailed taking on the technologically impaired, and guiding them through the basic concepts of formatting, creating spreadsheets, and sending emails.
- Service learning is a great method of encouraging community outreach amongst students, and truly becomes a learning experience for all involved, as connections are made and relationships are formed.
